Question quality needs more than a plausible-looking answer.
SteadyMarks checks the question, correct answer, explanation and online presentation before a practice test becomes available to students. A draft is not ready simply because it looks complete.
The review path.
Different question types need different checks, but the principle is the same: define the intended task, verify the content and its presentation, then complete a final review before students can use it.
- Define the practice purpose. Each set starts with an exam-specific guide covering the intended subject, skill, response type and boundaries.
- Check the structure. The question, answer choices and correct answer are checked so incomplete or inconsistent material is held back.
- Check the reasoning. The correct answer and explanation must fit the question without relying on missing information or hidden assumptions.
- Check visuals and presentation. Any diagram, table or image that affects the answer must agree with the question. The finished online question is checked as the student will see it.
- Complete the final review. Automated checks are useful, but a separate review decision is still required before students can use the content.

A useful question must work as content and as an online student task. The exact checks vary by subject and question format.
Reasoning quality
The explanation should show a usable line of reasoning, not merely repeat the correct option or depend on hidden assumptions.
Student presentation
Text, answer controls and important diagrams or images need to appear together clearly in the finished online practice experience.
What this process does not prove.
Quality controls reduce avoidable defects and keep a record of the checks completed. They do not turn independent practice into an official exam or prove that it is identical in difficulty.

A useful correction process keeps the original report, identifies what went wrong and checks the complete corrected question before students see it again.
Record the exact concern
Identify the practice set, question and issue as precisely as possible. Examples include an ambiguous condition, an answer that does not follow from the prompt, or a diagram that conflicts with the text.
Find the source of the problem
Check whether the issue is in the wording, correct answer, explanation, diagram or the way the question appears online. The correction needs to address the actual problem.
Check the complete corrected question
Review the question together with its answers, explanation and any diagram. Changing visible wording alone is not enough when other parts depend on it.
Review it before students use it again
A correction should go through the relevant checks and final review. A concern is not closed simply because someone saved a draft change.
